Luke Massengill Memorial Scholarship for the Theatre Arts

In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:

  • Pursuing a major in Theatre Arts; focused on acting and theatre arts
  • Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits; 9 grad credits)
  • Demonstrate financial need. We can determine your financial need by the results of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Submit a 500 word response reflecting on the following three questions: 1) How has theater served to help you better understand yourself and the world around you? 2) How do you view the role of collaboration and compassion in your work as a theatre artist? 3) How do you intend to use theatre to create educational, enlightening, and powerfully transformative experiences for your audiences?
