The Eugene and Lois Chaffee History Scholarship

In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:

• Have a 3.00 GPA or better
• Be pursuing a History major
• Plan to enroll full-time (12 UGRD, 9 GRAD)
• Demonstrate financial need per the federal financial aid rules. We can determine your financial need by the results of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

If you are pursuing a History degree and want to be considered for Department of History scholarships, you must complete the Department of History Scholarships Application and provide:

• Your unofficial transcript
• A letter stating why you have chosen to major in history
• How the study of history will fit into your long-term goals?
