Micron Academy for Inclusive Leadership Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the Micron Academy for Inclusive Leadership. The Academy is being created to build a community of Boise State undergraduate students who have the skills to be inclusive leaders.

The Micron Academy is a student-centered initiative housed at Boise State University’s Institute for Inclusive & Transformative Scholarship to address fairness, equity, and access, strengthen leadership skills, and build a thriving sense of community. Students accepted to the Academy will engage in year-long programming, and be guided through opportunities designed to support students in becoming change makers and inclusive leaders for their community. Innovative projects that partner students with community, government, and minority-owned businesses will build the foundation of the program. Micron Academy fellows will be paired with personal mentors from Micron. This mentorship is intended to support fellows as they move through the Micron Leadership Academy for Inclusive Leadership and work towards becoming community leaders and advocates.

This fellowship is open to Boise State undergraduate students who have the desire to be leaders in addressing fairness, equity, and access.

Priority will be given to students who have a major, minor, or certificate in Engineering, Science, Data Science, Computer Science, Public Policy (i.e. School of Public Service), STEM education, or Business. Scholarships will be awarded to selected applicants who commit to the requirements of the fellowship program. Scholarships will be awarded based on need and will be for at least $2000, but can not exceed a selected student’s unmet need.

In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
