Department of Mathematics Scholarships Application

If you are pursuing a Mathematics degree and want to be considered for Department of Mathematics scholarships, you must provide the following:

1) your unofficial transcript;
2) list the math class(es) you are currently taking along with the instructor(s) name;
3) a short answer including your career goals, and organization memberships & internships

Available Scholarships:

Alan & Anne Hausrath Math Scholarship
Requirements:

  • Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits; 9 grad credits)
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a Mathematics or Applied Mathematics major
  • Preference to females

Jerry L. Young Memorial Scholarship Fund
Requirements:

  • Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits; 9 grad credits)
  • Must be a Mathematics or Applied Mathematics major

Mary Anne Ziniker Maloof Memorial Scholarship
Requirements:

  • Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits; 9 grad credits)
  • Have a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Must be a Mathematics or Applied Mathematics major
  • Must agree to read biographical sketch of Mrs. Maloof

Math Scholarship
Requirements:

  • Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits)
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a Mathematics or Applied Mathematics major

Mathematics Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:

  • Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits; 9 grad credits)
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a Mathematics or Applied Mathematics major

Phillip & Venie Eastman Mathematics Endowment
Requirements:

  • Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits; 9 grad credits)
  • Incoming Freshman 3.5 HS GPA; Sophomore- Senior 3.3 cumulative Boise State GPA
  • Must be a Mathematics or Applied Mathematics major
