Thomas F. Dixon Scholarship
The Thomas F. Dixon Scholarship was established in 1975 by Thomas Dixon to assist quality students who may be in danger of leaving campus for financial reasons. Tom served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Boise State College in 1973. While at Boise State, he met his wife, Linda. When he graduated, they moved to Billings, Montana, where Linda finished her undergraduate degree in English at Rocky Mountain College. Eventually, the couple moved back to Boise and Tom worked several years for Idaho First National / West One Bank (aka US Bank), retiring from US Bank as vice president and senior loan officer.
