Ted Hopfenbeck Criminal Justice Scholarship
The Ted Hopfenbeck Criminal Justice Scholarship was established in 1990 by Ted Hopfenbeck. Ted has led an extraordinary life; at age 14 he ran off to fight in the RCAF until his mother found him and forced him to come back. When he was of age he joined the Army Air Corps and fought in WWII and the Korean War. He was a police officer in Arizona for many years and worked his way up the ranks. During his time in law enforcement he went back to school and received his master’s degree. Ted has taught at Boise State in the Criminal Justice department for nearly 30 years.
