Roger & Barbara Michener Scholarship

In 1991 the Micheners established the Roger and Barbara Michener Scholarship rotating between the College of Education and the College of Business & Economics. Roger and Barbara met while they attended Boise Junior College. Both had received financial aid while they attended college and believe it makes a difference. They wanted to give back to help other students in the way they had been helped. Roger became a high school principal in Buhl, Idaho and eventually founded Michener Investments, a real estate firm, in Boise. Barbara received her degree in communications and worked in the real estate firm with Roger.
