Richard Olendorff/Idaho Chapter of the Wildlife Society Scholarship
The Richard Olendorff/Idaho Chapter of the Wildlife Society Scholarship was established in 1997 by the Idaho chapter of the Wildlife Society in honor of the late Richard Olendorff. Richard Olendorff joined the Bureau of Land Management in 1974 and during his time with them he served as the endangered species coordinator and formed the first cooperative research unit, the Raptor Research and Technical Assistance Center in Boise. Richard was a founding member of the American Falconers Association and a charter member of the Raptor Research Foundation.
