Michael Blankenship Social Justice Scholarship

Michael Blankenship Social Justice Scholarship

The Land of Hope and Dreams Social and Environmental Justice Scholarship was created by Mary Stohr and Craig Hemmens, professors in the Criminal Justice Department. The fund was established to support criminal justice majors who do volunteer work with social justice agencies in the nonprofit sector. In 2011 the donors renamed the scholarship in memory of Dr. Michael Blankenship, former dean of the College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs and a colleague within the Department of Criminal Justice.
