Mary Ellen Callanan Literature Endowed Scholarship

The Mary Ellen Callanan Literature Endowed Scholarship was established in 2013. Mary Ellen had a lifelong love of reading to all of her grandchildren, who also share her love of books. Additionally, Mary Ellen and her husband Dr. Joseph Callanan had a great relationship with Bishop Kelly High School. For these reasons, this scholarship was established to honor her passion for reading and to provide scholarship support for incoming freshmen who are graduates of Bishop Kelly High School and intend to major in English.
