Lloyd (Bud) Pedersen Endowed Memorial Scholarship in English

The Lloyd (Bud) Pedersen Endowed Memorial Scholarship in English was established in 2013. Longtime instructor Bud Pedersen began his career at Boise State in 1982. He was a regular participant in the First-Year Writing Program’s annual assessment from its beginning in the late 1990s, one of the first faculty members to regularly teach in the distance learning Knowledge Network program, and both a contributor to and regular participant in professional development sessions offered through the First-Year Writing Program. This scholarship serves as a reminder of Bud’s love for teaching, his amazing support of students and his generous, upbeat, funny and incredibly kind personality.
