Leach Family Education Endowment

Leach Family Education Endowment

The Leach Family Education Endowment was established in 1996 by the family of the late Helen Leach in her honor. Helen received her teaching certificate and taught at Land Country School in Missouri for three years before she met and married Raymond Leach. The couple farmed until 1953 when they moved to Star, Idaho. Helen chose to be a mother and homemaker, supporting her husband and children. She enjoyed needlework, sewing, crocheting, doing alterations, and refurbishing antique and porcelain dolls. Helen also worked as an election judge at the Hawthorne School for several years.
