Judy Windom Special Education Memorial Scholarship

The Judy Windom Special Education Memorial Scholarship was established in 2007 in honor of the late Judy Windom. As a high school student, Judy worked for KTVB for several years as a master control but her volunteer experiences with the Family Advocate Program and the St. Paul Community Ministries Center sparked an interest in social work and inspired her to attain her bachelor’s degree in social work from Boise State in 1987. In 2000 she was in a serious accident that almost claimed her life. During her struggle to recover she was inspired to return to Boise State and receive a degree in special education. She loved working with her students and rejoiced with them at every accomplishment.
