Jerry L. Tucker Endowment Fund

The Jerry L. Tucker Endowment Fund was established in 1981 in honor of the late Jerry Tucker. Jerry was first and foremost a teacher. He taught in Idaho elementary and secondary schools and at several universities including Boise State. He also taught other teachers through workshops on environmental education, science education and reading in science. Jerry also was a consultant on environmental education projects, to schools and companies. He also served on committees such as the Governor’s Conference on Environmental Education, Alternative Energy Corporation, the Faculty Senate at Boise State, and the Science Advisory Committee.
