James and Maxine Collins Scholarship
The James and Maxine Collins Scholarship was established in 2003 in honor of James and Maxine Collins. Maxine did not work during the years that she raised her children but was active in Brownies, Girl Scouts, 4-H, Cub Scouts and the PTA. The American Red Cross presented her with an award for her volunteer work. She also did volunteer work at the Boise Public Library, the March of Dimes and the Make a Wish Foundation. After her children left for college Maxine received her real estate license and returned to work for 26 years. She was a member of GFWC Idaho Women’s Civic Club, Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Tuesday Musicale, Welcome Club, Sojourners I and Sojourners II.
