Helen M. Farrer Memorial Scholarship

The Helen M. Farrer Memorial Scholarship was established in 1985 in honor of the late Helen Farrer. Farrer taught speech and drama in the Boise school system as well as at Boise Junior College and Utah State University. She was a service club director at Ft. Lewis, Washington during WWII and was assigned overseas duty for a year in France and Germany. Helen was a charter member of the Boise Little Theater where she directed many plays. She was also a past president of the American Association of University Women, and a life member of the Soroptimist Club.
