Greg Blaesing Memorial Scholarship

The Greg Blaesing Memorial Scholarship was established in 2010 in memory of Greg Blaesing, who died in April 2010 at the age of 56. Blaesing was a BSU employee for 18 years. He served as director of the Student Union where he oversaw the first remodel and expansion of the SUB. Later, as irector of Auxiliary Services, he was instrumental in planning and developing new dormitories and student apartments. As a mentor and friend, Greg impacted the lives of countless students and staff at Boise State. The scholarship provides assistance to a student employee or student volunteer who is dedicated to improving the quality of student life on campus through involvement in fine arts, cultural or recreational programming.
