College of Education Student Teacher Scholarship

The College of Education Student Teacher Scholarship was established in 2013. Students who are in their Professional Year, i.e.-Student Teaching Year, fully immerse themselves into the field of a professional teacher, performing the equivalent work and dedication of a full-time educator. This creates a deeper financial need than your typical college student because of the fact that student teachers perform a 40-hour-plus job with no reimbursement, continue to pay tuition during this year and do not have the opportunity for part-time employment elsewhere.
