Ann & Doug James Early Childhood Education Scholarship

The Ann & Doug James Early Childhood Education Scholarship was established in 1997 by the late Doug James and his wife Ann. Doug was inspired by President Kennedy to take up government service and joined the Bureau of Reclamation in Boise where he remained until his retirement. He also helped found the ACLU chapter in Idaho and was on the board of the Intermountain Observer. He served as campaign manager for a mayoral and two city council campaigns. Doug was committed to the things that make this a better world.
